The new VR game Homeworld: Vast Reaches is released today for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 2. Developed by FarBridge in collaboration with Gearbox, the game is designed specifically for VR and offers a unique strategy experience in fully three-dimensional battles. A mixed reality mode is also on board, to give you the feeling of playing in a room full of toy spaceships.

    If you’re interested in this style of game on pcvr, you could check out battlegroup vr

    I’m not sure exactly how similar they are but they both have you commanding your own fleet. I haven’t played either so this isn’t an endorsement but they both look cool. Battlegroup seems to have a really cool perspective from the command ship too

    I’m looking forward to hearing from people how own both this and Eternal Starlight how the two compare.

    I mean I’m pretty sure Home world has more budget and is more polished, but I’m curious about differences in approach, any design decisions where one game chose better than the other.
