Bandit is usually pretty good about not getting on counters and tables but sometimes he does this, and just stares at me while I scold him.

If you don’t want him to go up there, buy a really expensive cat bed and put it up there for him. He will probably never jump up there again

The cat is exactly where they’re meant to be: watching high above their kingdom.

My cat would live up there. We have a curio cabinet by the front door and the top of it is her spot. She likes to hang out there, silently judging us and chases the shadows from the nearby window.

If he wasn’t supposed to be there you would have gotten cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling or no way to get up there. Now he has a way up there and is those supposed to be there.

I don’t have to worry about that kind of stuff with him or his older brother too much. It’s the youngest one that paws at stuff, he’s very curious but thankfully hasn’t figured out how to get up there.

He’s just reminding you of what you already know to be true: He is the overlord and your powers are useless here.

He makes a gorgeous little grotesque, but I would probably try to block the jump up there, it would be difficult to get him down in an emergency.
