Yes, they are getting bad, regressive, anti-progress, harmful things done. That isn’t what we want. Meanwhile, when Democrats are in power, Republicans think their job is to prevent Dems from accomplishing anything so they can point and say “see! They didn’t do anything!”.
That’s politics. Elected democrats don’t have to play nice with Republicans, and yet…

Yeah, cause the DoJ totally isn’t launching massive investigations into large police forces for unnecessary use of force, profiling, and racial issues. Memphis DEFINITELY didn’t just get a massive investigation announced. Biden also totally DIDN’T resume PD investigations that were cattled by the other guy. He also DID NOT expand the Justice Dept. ability to address police misconduct. He has NOT spent a corner of his presidency trying to restore voting rights to those affected. He HAS NOT tried to ease the burden of student loans on those crushed under their size. Yeah, Biden hasn’t done JACK SHIT for black folk.
Unless you have actually been paying attention, that is.

He did what he could with half the people running the country digging their heels in on saying “no” to everything. You got beef, take it up with the conservatives. Not good enough? Vote them out. They are the ones standing in your way.
It is this. Everyone kept saying why is the Democrat Manchin stopping everything we want. Not why are ALL the Republicans voting against everything we want.
Republicans are they ones who stopped student loan forgiveness. And Republicans are the ones to take rights away for women, LGBTQ, minorities, and workers. They are right now trying to stop people from voting because they know when large amounts people vote, they lose.
In case it wasn’t obvious to anyone at this point, this is what it looks like when someone argues in bad faith. If you haven’t changed the channel yet, this is your signal to do so.
Alabama right now had the Supreme Court tell them that African Americans deserved more representation in the congressional maps. The Republicans said No, we will still draw the maps so we win and the African Americans will not.
Not that surprising, the 1990’s saw a large drop in black voter turnout also
There is a difference though between midterms and Presidential elections. Midterms are always brutal because no one ever shows up for them. It’s a chore to get 50% of the people to get out for midterms, which really are equally as important as Presidential elections

the article has a lot of good points - a single Biden term is all the country can stand. can we get someone younger than age 50 as President? would be a nice change.
I’d love to see younger candidates, for sure. That being said, I’ll happily vote Biden again any day of the week given that the alternative is a Republican and likely Trump. Not an option in my world.
