Bought one and installed ChimeraOS on it. Makes it more into a steamdeck than a laptop without a keyboard.
I think getting a steamdeck is a better option, unless you really really want to play some demanding games. Setting up TDP controls and some other features you might want from a console makes having some linux knowledge a enormous help.
It can, of course it depends what you are playing, but you can have a few hours on 2d games.
Are you asking if it plays games natively or streamed? If you are, it plays natively. Battery life will depend on what you are playing and settings.
Is that blue tint just the photo?
How do people upgrade and keep the OS? Is yhere an expansion port or a way to install the OS on the new drive?

I mean…. Clearly a 1TB would serve you quite well and they’re really not that expensive.
How are you liking the ally? Why did you choose it over the steam deck. Thinking of getting one myself and am genuinely curious
