Okay for real, is there any upside to pixel phones? My buddy had like, 3 6 pros cause they kept breaking, and just in general I feel like I’ve only heard negative things (speaking as a Samsung user)

I’ve had a 6 pro for 2 years and it’s been pretty flawless shrug. Only problem I have is when I charge with the pixel stand, the WiFi cuts out frequently.

You don’t have to wait around for your phone manufacturer to decide that you can have a new feature.

I used to have a OnePlus and it usually took quite a while to get new features, half of which weren’t included anyway. The most annoying one (to me) is that some apps would use the material you auto coloring and Oxygen OS (The version of Android OnePlus uses) didn’t include the ability to customize the coloring so the only way you could change the color was by changing your wallpaper (or a kinda jank app).

That’s an embarrassing failure. I wouldn’t even trust anything else they put out to last if a mistake that major can make it through.

Shit, give me a phone as thick as a 3ds and i won’t complain, the bigger the parts are the cheaper they are, and the more battery you can fit into it.

I’m so confused as to why all these comments of people having miserable pixel experiences continue to use them. I’ve had the 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7. Pros of it existed. While certain ones have had minor issues for me, they’ve mostly been great devices to have. Amongst other wowing features, I’m always forced to take the group photos amongst a sea of iPhone users.

If you hate them, leave! iPhones are great too.

People just like to complain, or jump on the “shit on x” bandwagon for imaginary Internet points. I had the pixel 6, then 7, and I was happy with both. I did come from the blackberry Key2… Which was my favorite phone. I’d still be using it if it wasn’t so outdated :(

My mom has had her Pixel 7 for less than 6 months and the camera glass is broken (common issue) and it’s a hand warmer (common issue.) She’s about to trade it in and go back with Samsung.
