    Thanks for the spotlight, everyone! I find it welcoming and encouraging. Lemmy World has been a special place to create a space, develop support, share information in a respectful fashion, and ultimately establish a community around shared interests that can be used to help improve the lives of all involved. I appreciate the work you guys put in to creating this medium. ❤️

    This is a great community, and I really appreciate it as a spouse of an autistic person. My husband is not on lemmy, and I’ll send him an occasional meme or article. And I learn a lot from posts on there.

        He’s my big teddy bear, so he gets all the love. Reading c/autism’s posts helps me to understand his brain better. That he may express empathy differently, and it doesn’t make it any less heartfelt and authentic. That I can truly be direct, and he appreciates it. That it helps him to know the plans ahead of time… etc. Communities like yours bring more harmony and understanding to the world.
