For me I can’t stand that they put difficult terrain in the act 2 camp. Makes zero sense. Who the F builds their camp in mud? I would sell my soul to Raphael for a boardwalk.
“Listen Rafael, I don’t do deals with Devils. But… if you put the Mass Effect party select screen in here on a Hotkey… I’ll be your bitch for life.”
Karlach:
“Fuck, yes.”
I’ve recently begun to wonder whether there’s so much free wine in the world because the water is undrinkable. I would say “I have too much alcohol and I didn’t even have to work for it” is definitely first-world, and sanitation would greatly improve lives.
It’s kind of ruining my roleplay a little bit. I can’t not pick up supplies because what if I need them later, but I used to enjoy putting effort into long resting over a meal that didn’t sound gross, and now we all just get fucking wrecked every night with these mystery bottles I took off a zombie in a ditch.
Edit: The difficult terrain would probably come first, but at least taking an involuntary shower on my way to Gale means he’ll never again talk to me about how good I stink.
Not wine. Fruit is expensive and it takes too long. Mild beer was the go to. Like 2% so low enough it’s functionality impossible to get plastered but kills a lot of pathogens and it’s as easy to make as forgetting some barley in a barrel.
Most bottled fruit juice us actually mildly alcoholic as well.
Beer isn’t made by leaving barley in a barrel… It’s cooked. Also wine was and is the preferred drink in southern Europe since the Romans who looked down upon the “barbarians” who drank beer.
All this “people drank beer because water was unsafe” is just an urban myth: https://lemm.ee/comment/4891280
True adventurers drink their supper.
and now we all just get fucking wrecked every night with these mystery bottles I took off a zombie in a ditch.
Lol, wow. Now I feel completely different about all this wine I found in a zombie infested distillery. Dang it, Bobby!
It’s a very commonly quoted - and heatedly discussed - factoid that water was usually polluted and generally considered undrinkable, mild alcoholic beverages were the norm.
heatedly discussed - factoid
It’s not a factoid but an urban myth, historians are quite clear about this.
Water was – generally – safe to drink, and people drank alcohol for sustenance and because it was less boring than water. They also didn’t write that much about drinking water, because it was completely natural to drink it and readily available. Besides, the low-level “small beer” isn’t safe because of its alcohol content, it still goes bad rather quickly, but because it was made with clear water and barley cooked.

factoid /ˈfaktɔɪd/ noun an item of unreliable information that is reported and repeated so often that it becomes accepted as fact.
Sounds like heaven, until you develop alcoholism.
For radial menus to remain the way I set them up.
Yeah this drives me insane. My hot bar is always getting disorganized from removing and re-equipping gear. I just wish they remembered their last position.
On that note, inventory filters that work and sane inventory management.
Everywhere I go I see giant barrels of
gunpowder‘smokepowder’ but it’s only ever used for somewhat uncommon bombs. My parties benefits less from the party’s rogue’s soul than it would a swashbuckling rogue armed with a brace of pistols.I know there’s a big debate about it in the DnD community. But surely a Faustian bargain is enough of a lore reason in a world overflowing with explosive barrels.
I pick those bad boys up and keep them for later fights. You can really wipe out a bunch of lower hp enemies with just one barrel and it’s hilarious. With a couple high strength characters you can do silly stuff like have one guy throw oil the next throw firewine and then the third throw smokepowder. In the words of Leeloo “Big Baddaboom”.
I’d like to enact a new law that says you’re allowed to walk past someone even if it means invading their personal space a little bit. Like it’s ok buddy, you actually don’t need to run 359 degrees around me just because I am standing near a corner.
So you want Raphael to get rid of my personal bubble? The horror!
“Make it like 12… No, 13 inches.”
increases width to 13 inches
BJs would be like 😬
My fancy clothes have too much embroidery on them and its all gold accented. Nobody likes gold accents, silver is much more appealing especially if done minimally. I want to look nice, but not fopish evil. I’d sell my soul to Raphael for a modest but not too modest wardrobe.
One I had for a while made me look like Errol Flynn in Adventures of Don Juan.
10/10 would recommend
I upvoted to disagree.
I always go to the golden, like the golden ratio, there is no silver ratio…
Loboaureo means something like golden wolf in Spanish 🐺 so don’t take me too serious
In this vein I’d like dye to work on metal properly. I went to put burgundy on the helldusk armor and I ended up looking like the breast cancer awareness godzilla.
Quick and somewhat interesting question: if you turn your wrist over, are your veins green or are they blue/purple? Because if they’re more blue, your skin has a pinkish, cool undertone and that one looks best with silver. And people usually like what looks good on them.
I hate silver for the same reason, and it wasn’t until I learned what the difference was that I could name why. On someone with warmer, slightly gold skin, it just always looked wrong in comparison.
Crouch hotkey should affect summons, not just the 4 main characters in the party
On PS5 you have to crouch every party member individually. It is annoying enough that I typically just blaze into battle rather than spending time sneaking.
Actually just hold down for like a second, works on controller.
That’ll make everyone crouch? Awesome! I’ll give it a try tonight.
Yep! Whoever you are controlling and who is currently grouped up.
Outstanding! Thank you.
Sculpted spells on Druid for npc.
I really struggle to use druid spells because it feels like every spell they got do aoe.
I am not asking for my team, they have to walk it off but I ask for every npc.
I am tired that druid ends her turn with full spell slots because she can’t cast a single spell that won’t cause neutral npc not demanding her head.
I wonder if there is the same problem for the tabletop RPG or they made an unfortunate adjustment compared to it.
It’s the same in 5e so it happens quite often that druids accidentally hit other players.
But in those cases you hit npc, you can yell to npc(dm) sorry! And not get whole town to kill you because you didn’t count the how far the aoe goes.
It’s a bit odd too because there are plenty of other games where there is a certain threshold before it counts your actions against an NPC as hostile.
If you’re in combat and accidentally swing at an NPC once, it should be forgiven. If you do it twice in a row or maybe three total times throughout the course of a fight, then it should be considered intentionally hostile and they turn on you.
I always “accidentally” drop a fireball on the Dark Justiciar bones when Balthazar summons his guys to fight them with me. Gets rid of a few of Balthazar’s summons for later when I kill him in his office.
It is, low level as a land druid on 5e my goto spells were the flaming sphere, spike growth and call lightning.
If you’re in a crowded area, heat metal is very reliable.
But as a rule, unless you’re a wizard or you explicitly build for it, the AOE nature of spells is going to be a problem.
Only if 2x1 would be acceptable I would sell my soul to add an option to listen to your companion chats without having to click the ear icon and a group option to follow the líder even with 2 players (or more)
There is a auto listen in option in the settings.
Whaaaat? Where?
